We offer weekly bookings arriving Friday or Monday, a 3 night stay (Fri-Mon) and 4 night stay (Mon-Fri).
Check-in time is 3pm and departure is 10am.
Yes, and we provide throws for the sofa, armchair and beds.
The solid fence adjoining the farmers field is 5½ ft and the walls around the rest of the garden are over 6ft tall. The side passage (where the warm dog shower is) is gated so you can see them from the full height windows at all times.
The cottage and garden are small but perfectly formed! We want you and your loved ones to be comfortable, so our limits are based on what we think works and feedback from previous guests.
We are so lucky to have a gorgeous sandy beach and it’s dog friendly all year round.
The stairs do not suit everyone, so it is something to consider before booking. Saying that, our little dog loves nothing more than running up and down them on changeover day! We have a stair gate that can be fitted at the top on request.
Absolutely not! We have lots of guests who want to come and explore the area without a 4 legged friend. The cottage is spring-cleaned from top to bottom every changeover!
Yes, we have a 7.2kw EV charger for sole use by the cottage. The electricity used is charged at cost at time of use. We have a cheaper overnight tariff.
Swan Cottage is entirely electric and has electric radiators in the lounge and bedroom, and an electric shower towel rail. Being environmentally conscious, we chose to not run an oil pipe to the cottage and instead fitted solar panels.
